Programs:

Introduction to Private Investigations

Introduction to private investigations provides students with an overall perspective of the private investigative industry. This intense three day course familiarizes students with the industry as well as provides some of the core skills necessary to conduct private investigations.

Course Content Includes:

Introduction to private investigations

Current trends within the industry

History of private investigations

Interviewing/detecting deception

Investigator safety/dealing with difficult people

Investigator ethics and professionalism

Included in this course is a detailed training manual, a complete multi-media experience, as well as numerous field assignments. This hands on training allows the students the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned in class by applying this knowledge in a reality based scenario.

Advanced Private Investigations

This course provides students with a variety of specialized training and instruction in an assortment of advanced investigative matters. This powerful three day training is intended only for licensed private investigators, law enforcement or for those students who have completed the introduction to investigations course.

Course Content Includes:

Static Surveillance

Mobile Surveillance/vehicle and foot procedures

Surveillance tools/technology

Covert cameras

Employee theft investigations

External theft investigations

Undercover operations

Intellectual theft/counterfeit merchandise investigations

Attendees will be provided with the skills necessary to conduct surveillance and theft investigations in a competent manner. Segments of these classes will taught in a classroom setting; however a majority of this training will be conducted in real world scenarios. Participants will be conducting various operations within the Portland metro area while receiving coaching and feedback from instructors. This advanced training may require students to participate in activities that require standing, walking or sitting in a vehicle for an extended period of time. Included in this segment is a detailed training manual and various multi-media presentations.

Legal Investigations

This training program encompasses criminal and civil matters from a private investigative perspective. Attendees will learn the fundamentals necessary to conduct criminal and civil investigations through Attorney clients. This course is designed for both the beginning level student as well as the experienced licensed investigator.

Included in this training is a detailed instruction manual and a complete multi-media class room presentation.  Students will participate in field assignments which include hands on training allowing attendees the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned in class by applying there knowledge in reality based scenarios.

Protection Operations

This is an introductory course to the world of executive protection. This course has been designed to instruct students the difference between protection professionals and the “bodyguard.” Students will gain the fundamental skills needed to participate in a protection operation.

This course is taught by instructors with real world protection experience on both a National and International level. Class attendees will be taught in a combination of class room and field training. In conclusion students will be responsible for orchestrating a choreographed protection operation in an effort to keep their client safe. Students will also receive a detailed reference manual on protection services.

Classes are located in Oregon City, Oregon.

Course Schedule:

Courses are offered during a three day period and are generally scheduled as follows:

Friday              5:30pm – 9:30pm

Saturday           9:00am – 6:00pm

Sunday 9:00am – 6:00pm

Course Cost:

$475.00 this cost includes all of the training manuals as well as coffee and breakfast pastries (Sat/Sunday only) please bring your own sack lunch.
